| Waterjet cutting allows tremendous flexibility and versatility in manufacturing. The process itself begins with the pressurization of water at levels above 40,000 psi to produce the required energy for cutting. The water is then focused through a small orifice to form a concentrated stream. |
| Benefits of the waterjet cutting method, include: no heat affected zones in material due to water's cold nature, the process can pierce most materials without starting holes, super close tolerances, and waterjet cutting is considered environmentally friendly due in part to the reduction of dust and hazardous gases commonly used by other processes. |
